PIDI : Planar Reflections 5 is available in multiple editions to adapt to all kinds of developers and projects, whether you are working solo or with a team, on a simple mobile game or in a major multi-platform title our asset can adapt to all workflows and setups. This section will help you find out which edition of PIDI : Planar Reflections will suit you best.
Q . Are you working with a smaller team or solo in a project of your own?
A . You should get the Personal Edition. It includes support for both Legacy (Built-in) and Universal RP in a simple, per-seat license.
Q . Are you working with a medium / large team or as a contractor for a client?
A . If you require multiple licenses (you have multiple people working in the same Unity project) then you need to buy a Team License, as it is the most cost-effective solution with the most flexible license terms. If you are working as a contractor for a client, then your client needs a Team License to cover your usage of the software, or both you and them have to acquire the appropriate number of licenses to cover the usage of the software by both of you within the project.
Q . Is your project using only the Universal Rendering Pipeline?
A . Get Planar Reflections 5 – URP Edition. It is a fully featured edition with support for only one rendering pipeline, which makes it more affordable. It has a per-seat license, meaning that every developer with access to the Unity project must have a valid license. If your team is not small, you may want to get the Team Edition instead.
Q . Are you making a mobile game?
A . If you are just starting, consider using the URP Edition since it is more affordable and the Universal Rendering Pipeline is designed with less powerful devices (such as mobile) in mind. If your project is already being developed with the Legacy Pipeline, get the Personal Edition.
