Painter Objects are extremely useful “Virtual Brushes” that allow you to modify the appearance of the fur at runtime in a similar fashion to XFur Studio™ Designer, but they work at runtime and can easily be attached to other objects to be implemented within different gameplay mechanics.
Shaving, grooming or coloring the fur as part of your game is extremely easy with the XFur Studio™ Painter Objects.
Depending on the Paint Mode selected the UI of the Painter Object will automatically adjust itself to expose the right parameters to use, either a Brush color, effects intensity, whether to invert the painting mode (when painting the Fur Mask for example, it allows you to either add or shave away fur) etc. To add an XFur Studio™ Painter Object to your scene, simply create an empty game object and add the “XFurStudioPainterObject” component to it.
